Olde Naples

Old Naples is the most historic neighborhood with lots of original homes and considered the heart of Naples with rich culture. A lot of these buildings date back to the turn of the 19th century and are known for their celebrated charm and attested significance. Old Naples, however, also has new luxury custom built estates and homes and condos where old buildings have been torn down to make way for the next generation. You will find a mix of architectural styles ranging from Spanish and Mediterranean to Coastal Contemporary and Colonial.

The picturesque streets are lined with towering palm trees and gorgeous mansions, luxurious single-family homes, upscale town homes, elegant high-rises, and modern downtown condos as well as historic beach cottages. Old Naples real estate can range from around $500,000 to well over $20 million. The residences serve as retreats for the cold winter months in the north or as full year-round home to wealthy families and professionals.

One of the attractions is called “Millionaires Row.” This line of beachfront properties is located around the Naples Pier and is a number of houses belonging to the most successful and wealthy individuals and families there are in Naples.

The neighborhood has an abundance of exquisite shopping, fine dining and entertainment options especially along Fifth Avenue and Third Street South. Stroll down these streets and experience more than 170 specialty shops and retail stores, boutiques, restaurants, theaters, museums, and art galleries like the von Liebig Art Center and the Naples Depot Museum. Old Naples also hosts cultural events throughout the year, including the Naples International Film Festival, the Paradise Coast Wine & Food Experience and the Naples Winter Wine Festival.

Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a wide variety of recreational activities being offered at numerous beach front and inland park areas like Cambier Park and Baker Park. These wonderfully maintained parks offer picnicking, sports activities, and concerts. Naples Beach and Lowdermilk Park Beach invite for a stroll along the white sandy beaches that stretch for 6 miles at the Gulf of Mexico. The 43-acre Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, the Botanical Garden, The Sudgen Community Theater, the von Liebig Art Center, the Naples Pier and the Tin City waterfront shopping mall are some more beloved destinations.

Gulf Shore Boulevard is a prestigious street running through Old Naples Florida real estate on the west side and is home to some of the most luxurious and sought-after properties in Naples. Properties at the Gulf of Mexico start at $1 million and range up to more than $100 million for incredible oversize beachfront properties. The Blvd is leading right along the amazing white sand beaches of Lowdermilk Park and Clam Pass Park and the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. An address on this Boulevard is a sign of distinction and wealth and gives you the most stunning views into Shore Blvd is just a few blocks away from the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club with a private beach, a championship golf course, and several dining options. The Naples Pier is one of the area’s most popular landmarks and is located close to the south end of the Boulevard.
